I can't say I recommend you install a compressor on a body panel. Compressors get HOT (if you are airing up after trail use, if you're just airing up the kids bikes it won't get hot, but when it's on constantly for a few minutes, yeah it gets hot). And you don't want to risk melting anything, especially the plastic on the back of the swing door.

You also need to run/route a heavy harness from the rear alllll the way to the front (no, you cannot use the pass-through upfitter wire Ford left on the rear passenger, you need dual 10 gauge power lines for at win compressor)
