Actually, it's because black wheels are in style. White, Silver, and Chrome are not. Look at all the luxury cars that now charge top dollar to delete the chrome trim and replace it with black.

You do you, but that's the reasoning behind having trouble finding them.
Makes since.

I will have mine powder coated, better, and stronger than paint. Have a shop a couple of miles away that did some on my M/C and did a great job, said if new (not much prep) $75 each and he would have them 2 days. He also has tire mounting equipment. I will just put her on jack stands in the garage and fire up the impact wrench.

Anyone know what the stock 17x7.5 BD steelies will cost per wheel? I'd like to have 8 in total, the 5 that come with the truck then 3 additional so I can have a dedicated winter set. If silly money I'd reconsider but that seems like the most cost-effective option. Not looking to get fancy here, got other cars for that.

Paint them. Cost you about $12 dollars. Paint again if they get scratched.

My JKU wheels have been plastidipped for about 6 years now, and only one of them has a couple spots where it got scratched. If you don't drive into curbs on a regular basis, they will hold up pretty well.

$95 isnā€™t bad. Just have to get them powder coated.
Those are "reconditioned", you might as well as read that as....previously bent.
No thanks. I prefer no vibrations at highway speeds.

I donā€™t believe that is the right rim. Bronco has a 6/139 bolt pattern.
Good catch, somebody fucked up somewhere. Most likely a typo.

There are DOZENS of options for steelies, and they come standard as un-painted but for a few bucks more they can be had in the same patterns but in chrome polish, white or black. You can get them at every Tom, Dick and Jane tire shop across the country, all you have to do is ask.

Steelies have been readily available for decades. So I suppose the most correct answer to your question is:

Do a google search. just about ANY google search for tire shops near you, or steelies, or wheels, or one of just about any questions related to wheels/steelies and you'll have something whipped up and on their way to you. Not like you're going to be mounting the tires yourself anyway, so go through a tire shop to purchase as they will also mount the tires for you.*

I did make a bold assumption that if google searching steelies was not something that came naturally then you most likely haven't purchased many aftermarket wheels, so going through a tire shop will be very beneficial for you.

All of that smart assery is correct,
until you look for steel wheels that have close to Bronco factory specs.
I haven't found them, unless you find 4.5" backspacing OK for the Bronco.
5.75, maybe.

I'd gladly enjoy a show of force of your Googlery prowess that turns up dozens of options for steelies that are "white" and of a wagon wheel or other classic design AND fit closely to the Broncos factory specs.
Hell, I'd even accept black or silver wheels as far as that goes. Some soft 8's, D's or wagon wheels will suffice.

per tiresize.com wheel calculator.
Using what I can gather from the Stig shots of the wheels and assuming the Base wheel is the same Ranger wheel, which has been stated elswhere.

16 x 7 = 55mm offset = 6.17" Backspace (Base)
17&18 x 7.5 = 55mm = 6.42" backspace (BB, BD & OBX)
17 x 8 = 55mm offset = 6.67" backspace (Badlands)
17 x 8.5 = 30mm off = 5.93" backspace (Squatch)

Yep. I still canā€˜t find any white ones. Not sure where they are looking.
