Anyone swap grill yet?

I have a outer banks Sasquatch being delivered any day now and am partial to the badlands grill, parts guy said it’s paint to match so I ordered one and will probably paint gloss back to stay with outer banks theme but it’s happening as soon as parts come in!

Where are you painting a badlands grill gloss black? Isn’t Wiltrack grill what you are looking for?

Wildtrack grill IS the Badlands grill in gloss black. Maybe I’m missing some thing but just wanted to point out in case it would save you some steps or $

For sure, when you order it is a part, they are all paint to match so you have to get it painted, thought about doing grey or white but I am going to keep it gloss black

Ohh I gotcha. They start as the same blank part and have to be painted to become badlands or wildtrack

I’m running into issues getting a outerbanks installed on my badlands.

Issue 1. Camera doesn’t fit- solution is to cut with dremel.

Issue 2. Back plate/camera mount doesn’t fit outerbanks grill, needs trimming.

Issue 3. The backing plate blocks 2/3 of the openings

We are making it work but I am just going to watch my temps and will go back to badlands grill if needed.

Damn. I was hoping to put the Black Diamond matte black grill on my Ox White Badlands. May just have to get the Badlands grille painted.

I feel like if you paint the grill, the fender flares might look slightly off. Maybe that’s just me though.

Good call. Didn’t even think about that. I am trying to black out all my accents/details. Do you know if the metal fender flares from Ford are black? I will have to check the site.

I think they are black, but didn’t look too close at them either.

Gotta step back and look at the bigger picture. Like when I wrapped my Bronco, I wasn’t going to do the hood. Glad I did to balance out the black. I like the Badlands grill colour and fender flares, so I decided to Plastidip the Bronco badge on the back a very similar grey… ties it all together.
