Probably not likely, but all these orders would be in the system anyways.
I know there are early 2020 rez holders still waiting for a VIN, including myself...
Just trying to get a picture of WTF is going on at MAP.

No one with a 99 code will have a VIN there’s a reason it’s coded 99. They say there’s no dumb questions, but then you show up with this. Hahaha

99 codes are simply ignored for scheduling. they would build stock units before a 99 code would ever get touched, they would build no units even. its like the order doesnt exist.

If your order is buildable, it will have a code 1X most likely, and it will get selected when it gets selected.
I didn't ask buildable or scheduling ... I asked if it would be issued a VIN.

It's coded 99 to be ignored for the current model year...
No reason why it couldn't be put in the system for a VIN. We're a matter of weeks away from MY22 order books and scheduling.
They say their are no dumb questions, but there sure are a lot of morons that like to have their say without knowing the answer. 😁😁😁

Nobody gets a VIN until they are scheduled for production. So 99s won't get VINs. Once a VIN is issued, many of your order options are locked in. Since you can't even order a 22 yet, they can't issue VINs for them.

Okay... I had it backwards. I thought the VIN came first and then you were considered for scheduling

They only issue a VIN based off scheduling. Scheduling for MY22 starts in October. You’d still have to remove the 99 code to get scheduled for MY22. Code 99 doesn’t mean wait for MY22 it means do not build.
