Got mine today and swapped them out. BYOD rail seems much sturdier now - Thanks.

I received my AR | SLAP / BPM yesterday!

Repurposed the AR packing tape as a sticker and placed it on the rear window of my 2010 Jeep Wrangler.

Someday 🙏 I'll have a 22, 23 or perhaps 24 Bronco to put stickers on!

@calgecko you need to visit the RAM mounts site. They have quite a selection of arms and mounts for holding devices to the rail. The one pictured above is a twist lock mount that requires a compatible phone case.

correction, quad lock is the one above.

thanks ... so I get the device from archetype, and then the mount from RAM to attach to Archetype's device? seems like they should do a package deal with all of it in one LOL

AR | SLAP / BPM Structurally Located Accessory Point / Bulletproof Mount

Bronco6G.com forum Members, use the code B6GSLAPME20 for 20% off your purchase!!!

It's stealthy, low profile, and probably the way the OEM 'ACCESSORY READY' mount point should have been designed from the get-go.
We took the OEM plastic 'ACCESSORY READY' panel with its single (flimsy) 1/4-20 threaded location and deconstructed it. What you have now is a plastic dash trim piece with a threaded metal sleeve and nut inserted. The threaded feature has been known to come apart. From what we've seen from feedback from our customers, one to three mm of tolerance is common, when mounting their BAM.

What we did was turn the plastic part and design a 6061 billet piece that uses M6 threaded hardware to mount to the steel dash structure, making a very rigid and 'bomb proof' mounting location. We took it a couple steps further by adding two more 1/4-20 threaded locations that flank the original center location, making the single piece so much more versatile. Add in our proprietary keyway to accept our B.A.L.L.S. and you have a formula of:

1/4-20 316 stainless bolt + 6061 billet ball (20mm or 1") + 6061 billet bracket + M6 316 stainless bolt -into the steel dash structure.
It literally doesn't get any beefier than this.
The AR | SLAP / BPM accepts out AR | BAM & TAP and is brand agnostic to other manufacturers. It will allow their rail/mount something substantial to mount to. I'm 3D printing the prototype tomorrow. The final product will be cerakoted to match the surrounding dash plastics and give the AR | SLAP / BPM an OEM look. The ARCHETYPE RACING script will be machined into the part and have a similar appearance to the OEM 'ACCESSORY READY' script which is very subdued.

Do these have any sort of locking feature? Thinking a dashcam or GoPro mount but with the top down it’s easy pickings and asking to be grabbed.

I can, without hesitation, say that it would be literally easier to steal your Bronco than it would be to remove your AR | SLAP from your dash.

Installed the BPM yesterday. Works with Bronco Rail from 67 designs.

Just installed mine I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone planning to mount an accessory. The entire oem piece is plastic with the exception the mounting point (just 1 mounting point). The slap is all metal and provides 3 mounting points. Some pics below comparing the 2 and the tools I used. I also have a pic of the OEM mount showing the tabs on the back side. I thought the tabs would be metal but they are not.

Ford should contract with AR and provide this for every Bronco. I will def be getting one for my Warthog when it arrives.

Looks like mine shipped and is out for delivery. Guess that gives me something to do this weekend. Now to wait for my BALLs and the Wildtrak VIN badge! :D

It's takes a good bit of time to get 'caught up' on these orders, especially when there are pre-orders in front of yours. Not to mention all of the other parts that are being packaged up and shipped out. MAGNUMS take the longest time. It's an uphill battle, everyday. At my old age, I really appreciate everyone's patience. :)

oh I get it. I knew going in that this AND the Wildtrak badge were both pre-order. Doesn't stop the waiting, or the "instant gratification" need :D

So this is kind of like a RAM mount? Are they compatible?
