After a long decision process, I decided to buy this instead of mounting under the spare.

Other than it being expensive, any comments?

I’ve been using mine for years and it’s been a beast. However I only recommend it if you have multiple vehicles you will be using it on as it takes up space, which is its only downside besides price IMO.

Dumb question, but what’s the point of the tank? It’s a dual compressor pump - just feels like the air tank takes up unnecessary space? Other than that, it looks good.

Ford offers a kit in a smaller box, but I think it may only be a single (someone can correct me if I’m wrong).

It allows you to air up tires faster, think of it you are pulling air from the tank (compressed), and not directly waiting on the compressors. It also allows you to run air tools from it.

Been running the suitcase for over a year, only use I find for the tank is letting it get up to max PSI and using the blow gun feature to blow out dust in the cab.

Very reliable and fast compressor though...

Ford offers a single and a twin. It's actually the ARB kits, with a Ford sticker on them is all and a blue hose instead of an orange hose.
