I’m not sure the differences, but I do know my toy bronco painted with the automotive touch up rattle can looks exactly like the Bronco sport A51 at the dealer down the street.
Thats encouraging to hear. I love the paint sample. And if you say your paint sample matches what you saw in person, that alleviates some concern

"It does look different wet"..Thats what she said! lol

Omg maybe on light primer with clear it actually turns into the right color because ethats the same color (as best as I can tell) that my paint is wet. Really weird. But thanks for the huge effort. Love the RC.

I like to look at the sky in photos to see how much saturation the camera added. Looks like it added quite a bit. I took the saturation down to what I’d say is a somewhat reasonable sky color..

Yes that original pic is heavily saturated . I wonder what color interior it has in it because even through the glass looks blue . Yours is really close ,especially after I adjust my monitor some :)

These all look the same to me based on lighting, size, contrasting colors, etc. It in no way looks like “baby blue” (think UNC colors) to me but has always been a greenish slate blue.

Area 51 is one of my faves I’m hoping it’s like my 2013 anniversary edition Rubicon. Loves that color.

So the real question is, what interior choices best match up with Area 51?

Outer Banks Navy Pier
Out Banks Roast and Onyx
Badlands Onyx
Wildtrak Sandstone

All of them honestly. One of the few colors I can say that about, other than black

The Wildtrak tan and OBX Roast are the two that concern me the most. I really don't want a plain black interior(my Jeeps were that way, just bored with it), but it is hard to picture anything looking nice here with this exterior color. I am going Squatch+Lux+V6, so which exact model I pick out really only matters because of the interior choice.

Na, it’s a very boring light blue, which is the problem with it.

Well there wildtrak has the blue stitching. And the soft cor of the a51 should complement the soft tan leather id think

And here’s the toy bronco in the same light and background. It does look much darker wet.

So probably dumb questio

If I get some of this paint, and ask a detailing shop to go over my already-area51 Bronco, one or two more times. Essentially adding another coat of paint... will my Bronco begin to become a darker area51 paint?

Or does that not matter how many coats i throw on it?

(I guess this is why people don't ask my help in painting their walls)
