Aux-Controlled Interior Lights?

Please pardon the likely duplicate post - I'm certain this is answered already but I've been having a heck of a time finding it via search!

I'd like to improve the interior lighting and these are on a pretty good deal right now:

I noticed that they tie into the automatic door lights. I'd much rather run additional interior lights into one of the auxiliary switches, as there are times at night when the dim default interior light is preferred to keep the interior darker and I'd prefer to keep manual control over them. Are there similar kits out there that are designed to be aux controlled, or is the answer to instead find my own way of wiring these lights into an aux line contrary to the instructions?

These daisy chain to the interior lights and are manually controllable via the button, no need to tie up an aux switch.

Ah I understand, thanks! I didn't realize that button it referenced was for the manual lights

Turns out the "similar threads" on a post also gives results better than I was able to search, the rock lights on the interior idea is also intriguing!
