I am hoping it doesn’t end up being obscenely expensive. It’s cool but one of those things I’m not going to plop down $1000 for or anything crazy like that. If they price it wrong I doubt many people will jump on it. You could build a leveling platform and cover it with something durable for cheap. I will probably go this route to get the level loading effect.

Thanks! Damn, I missed the part about it being 4-door only. Cest la vie!

I'm sorry, what does the tail gate have to do with leveling the back 'deck'?
Am I missing something? (Probably not.)

Take a look at a picture of the 4D Bronco with the back seats folded down. The load floor of the rear is lower than the seat backs when they are folded down. With the slide out tailgate installed, the whole back becomes a flat level surface. It would be easier to slide something heavy in the back if it was level.

There are a bunch of other concerns with the slide out tailgate - if you plan to use the onboard door storage bags - wont work. If you plan on certain flavors of the cargo management systems - won't work. So you will need to prioritize which feature is most desired and work your way through the restrictions unfortunately.
