This is so awesome. Would like to see some more information on how to link them and wire them, but I definitely plan to get these for my LP4 A Pillar lights.

I really love how Baja Designs makes products like this that allow you to enhance the lights you already have versus them trying to sell you replacement lights. I couldn’t be more happy with all of my Baja Designs purchases.

Been doing this for decades with linear actuators. But it was custom work for sure. Started with using aircraft landing lights that retracted flush into the wings. Out of surplus and into the race vehicles. Big Oly had a pair of them in the wing.

So looking at the instructions... Baja Designs has a wiring harness for upfitter use that has built in relays

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-reflex-light-actuator-harness-power-management-single/

"Power Management" is a fancy word for "Upfitters" or "OEM Switches"

Basically you get 3 leads. One ground and a positive lead for each function (up/down).

NOW. Im curious what would happen if you activate power to BOTH. I guess it would cancel each other out but will it TRY and power up and down at the same time and possibly mess up the motor?

Honestly, this actuator is probably best with a momentary switch over an upfitter so calling it a harness for "Power Management" actually makes better sense as you can program most switch panels for momentary control.

So if you wanted to use two upfitter switches, one for up and one for down you could make it work with OEM switches?
