I ordered a Base Bronco although there is no trailer hitch option. Wait for aftermarket?
Looking at the bare chassis with the hitch, it hardly looks like it should be a $600 option, so yeah, even though I ordered it on my black diamond, I'm having second thoughts as aftermarket should be a 3rd of that.

I am having one installed after I pick it up,
The hitch is on the Ford accessory list. You can buy it and put in on yourself - that's what I'm doing.
Look into Class III or IV aftermarket hitches. Even if you don't intend to exceed tow capacity (like I will likely do), they are a far more stable platform than what is offered by Ford, they will connect into frame members instead of a central point on a cross member. Yeah, I've done a lot of towing, a wider distribution of weight makes a big difference....

I wonder how long before someone has a hitch available- such as Drawtite?

This is the best information I found in the other thread regarding Copilot 360:

https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/2021/compare-models/#base|outerbanks

Standard

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
Post-Impact Braking
Auto High-Beam Headlamps
Rear View Camera

Mid

Lane-Keeping System
BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert
Reverse Sensing System

High

360 Camera
Forward Sensing System

Lux

Adaptive Cruise
Evasive Steering
I just noticed this. "Post-Impact Braking"? Isn't this a little late for braking to be applied, or am I missing something in translation? Shouldn't it be "Pre-Impact..."?

I'm assuming in a situation where the driver doesn't or can't respond after an accident the braking comes in handy to prevent the car rolling off into more traffic or off a cliff or some such.

though I did have the same initial thought lol

I had never heard of this feature either. I looked it up and you're right - the idea is to stop the vehicle from moving into a second collision.

Here's an article: https://thebrakereport.com/ford-rolls-post-impact-braking-into-edge-suv-and-other-na-vehicles/

And here's a video from Ford:

That's a good feature , had a car hit me while I was sitting at a stoplight after they got t-boned

I couldn't back up or hit the car behind me so just had to sit there and get hit , try explaining that to your agent

Base doesn’t include Lane Keep Assist and Blind Spot Monitor.
Yaay!
Can you turn off the other stuff too?
Auto braking, stop start engine etc.?
All I care about is ABS, and the back up camera for small children and pets only, dont need it learn how to back up!
Been doing that for 34 years!
Thanks
And yes I searched for other threads!
