Hi all, recently had my base Stereo upgraded using a JL 10" sub in the factory sub location, along with replacement of all 6 speakers using audiofrog in like size. What a huge difference.

The only thing that the tech told me was that there wasn't a digital output from the factory head unit (due to the car not being equipped with the B&O system)

Does anyone have any experience with this fact, and know if it can be upgraded to support digital output?

Pics later for fun.

Sorry to hijack your thread but can you please post more details about the model specific sub and speakers? Also, are you utilizing an amplifier?

I'll send some pictures when the weather improves.

JL audio vx1000/5i amp

JL 10TW3-D4 sub

4 total Audiofrog 4" GS42
2 total Audiofrog 6" GS60

Rear pods are not running off of the amp, just the factory head unit.

Tech built a 13 layer custom enclosure that fits cleanly in the rear.

The sub is under the rear driver side seat and has cable play to allow it to continue to lay flat.
