My daily driver is a 2025 OBX LUX non-SAS which I guess you could call me a "mall crawler". I do not have the AUX switches, nor do I have any plans for additional electrical needs beyond a single switch. My question is whether anyone has done or seen something that looks somewhat original or does not stand out too much to add a single light switch?

I could put in the FORD AUX switches, but it's a descent amount of money to spend for only needing a single switch. I do use the glasses holder currently which would have to go away. It's the most OEM choice, but I'm struggling with needing to spend this much for just a single switch.

I've seen the smaller 6-button switches for which I thought that mounting above the sunvisor might not be a bad choice, but again it's several buttons that I have no plans to use. Plus, both name brands I've researched does not have a on-off-on 3-way option.

I bought the M&R dual lightbar for the front bumper for which I plan to use mostly the amber light just for the looks. The least damaging or minimalist solution that I envision is a single on-off-on switch. Below is what I'm considering which needs just a single hole in the dash to mount.

Amazon.com: Jtron 4 PIN SPDT SPST Rocker Toggle Switch ON/Off/ON 12V 20A Car Switch Mini Carbon Fiber Cover Handle Toggle Switch with Blue LED Light for Car Van Boat Rv Truck : Automotive

I'd probably mount it low on the kick panel or under the climate controls facing downwards to not be so conspicuous., Yes, I could totally hide the switch in the globebox or center console, but I also want quick access to the lights for those rare times you need to get somebody's attention.

Any suggesions for a very minimalistic switch and/or location that does not stand out too much?

I went with a wireless 4 switch pod after having 3 switches dangle for a couple years. Like you I have a OBX Lux non-squatch and no aux or hero switches.

You could put switches in the windshield trim behind the sunvisor like this guy did.

Look at 23:20 on this video. You'll see a row of switches above the sunvisor. There is a lot of room for wires behind that panel.

Delcity has an excellent selection in switches.

The factory upfitter kit is definitely the most OEM-style solution if you're looking to add dedicated circuits. Another option to consider is a wireless controller system like our Bronco-specific Trigger Controller Kits. It allows you to control multiple accessories from your phone without having to run switch wiring into the cabin. Depending on how many accessories you're planning to add, it may be worth looking into as an alternative!

I own a 24 Bronco Big Bend which came with no Aux Switches and also had no factory wiring behind the front bumper. But I wanted bright driving lights that came with an on-off switch so I could have it installed on the dash next to the factory light switch. So I decided on the Diode Dynamics driving lights - which came with the wiring and a small rocker style on/off switch. I had the installer run the Diode Dynamic wiring from the driving lights to the dash, put a very small hole in the dash next to the factory light switch, and install the Diode Dynamics switch right next to the factory light switch. Easy to turn the driving lights on and off and driving light switch is hardly noticeable. This was also the safest way for the install. Since I was interested in no additional lighting, this worked for me.

If self-proclaimed mall crawlers have a dead pedal by the driver's side kick panel, you could install a tribute to (at least) 78-79 Broncos that had a switch for high-beams there. You could add a foot-shaped switch and stomp on it to turn the light on and stomp again to turn it off.

If you need help on locating a good spot to get through the firewall, @Squatch is a good resource for that.
