Best solution for spare tire bushing gap with high offset wheels?

Saw a couple posts on this but nothing definitive. Is there a bronco specific solution for this? If not, what's best method to correct the gap that is present with 0 offset+ wheels? Energy suspension?

Thank you. Seems there's no definitive solution. Surprising considering the amount of time. I spoke to a buddy that has negative offset and he used the energy bushing for jeep and said the nipple fit ours so I'll go that route.

I have -25 offset spare wheels and racquet ball from Amazon works wonders.

They're long enough for -30 at least if I had to guess. I trimmed off over half to fit for +18.

Okay, this is my first vehicle with a spare mounted like this and my first time that I’ve changed all 5 wheels. Is this really an issue? I was washing the Bronco over the weekend and noticed that my wheels don’t push up against the bumper that’s there. But is it a big deal? The spare is tight on the mount. . Obviously you don’t want the tire/wheel up against the body and paint, but if it’s a tad further out is that a bud deal?

I’m genuinely curious and need actual education as all my vehicles before have either had a tire underneath (98 Durango and 16 Tundra) or in the trunk (89 Ford Tempo GLS, 85 Nissan Pulsar, 05 Charger)….so this is a first for me.

Flex/stress on tailgate. The bump stops are meant to absorb flex when the truck moves over surfaces that may cause vibration/tension. Think of it as an armrest for your wheels.

Yes, and they are great. removes and supports any flex with tailgate in this location.
