Plus Big Bend opens up some colors I'd prefer.

Or new idea - BB + Auto + 4.27 E-Locker + Mid Package = $39,580 (I think). Gearing should make the 2.3 very okay. If not, will get a factory tune!
That is likely my build.

I'm back to the BB again for now. After going over it again, I think I'll be ok with the BB with rear locker, aux switches.and modular top. The wash out floors on the BD are nice but not an absolute need.

I almost glad it will be awhile before the Broncos are delivered. it gives me a chance to figure things out.

To be real about it, the Badlands is the ultimate model I want. It has every single thing I want. The only thing I'd add is the modular top and high package, to get the 12" screen. I'd keep the 2.3 and have a manual transmission.

Like most, budget is a concern. Looking for a hunting rig and DD. Reserved a BB and thinking 2-door manual, 2.3, rear lockers, aux switches and maybe roof rack (Carbonized grey I think). Wonder if the B&P tool will drive me back to a base with options. Love the Squatch look but just can't rationalize the $$ (tried to convince my bride that our last two high schoolers don't need to go to college). Maybe down range I can put bigger tires on it as long as the 2.3 can turn 'em.

Plus, the Big Bend badge looks the best.

Yes I love that grill also. You can also get the upgraded LED Signature lighting with it. I want it and wonder how much it is worth.
And I love the grill and wheels together. I do like the option of the LED Signature lighting headlights - and I am hoping that somehow there will be the option of the LED taillights.

That would be nice but I have full confidence in the aftermarket producing LED tail lights

I have this vision of a lot of future OB / BL / WT owners standing around saying I just wanted the Base / BB / BD, but by the time I optioned it the way I wanted it, it cost only a thousand more to have . . . . This.
I was wrong. Black diamond hits the value hard. There’s a lot of options if you are willing to pay. I think if the surveys translate to actual pricing Ford did pretty good. The only exception is the $5k difference between base and Big Bend with the mid package.

Don't hold me to it, but I believe the 3.73 are the open axles and the 4.27 comes with the E-locker option.
Depends on which transfer case you spec, advanced has lower ratio.
