Just getting the forums opinions ⬆ / ⬇ on blacking out the hood, and possibly windshield frame, on my Oxford white. Would try to do in matte, but Xpel doesn’t do a black stealth yet. (unmodified view for comparison - and those are the Morimoto XRGB headlights installed with M&R Fogs in the pockets)

Too much black with windows and hood done. Consider a little less black to highlight instead of dominate. Love the blue ring on your rims. Where did you get them? Those show off your Bronco well.

I like the blacked out hood look. Less glare in the sun as well.

I would NOT do the windshield.
I was thinking about the hood and for a split second thought about adding the windshield. It'll look okay with the roof on, but when you take the roof off, not so much since the rest of the roll-cage will be white.

Thanks, I had them professionally powder-coated in a metallic blue. $200 for all 5, plus $20 per tow hook. The finish is fantastic, like the OEM finish on the rims, feels bullet-proof.

Yeah, I think i lean to hood only as well. There is a 1st Edition in red by me with the blacked hood. Looks so nice, and a bit more aggressive from front. Also nice for glare (including night if you choose to use roof bar or pillar lights - much easier on the eyes.

I'm with the majority here, I like the hood, don't like the windshield.

It's kind of like athletes and eye-black - is the eye-black for performance reasons or aesthetic reasons? If it's just for aesthetic then do whatever you think looks best.

Black hood. Well, sorta black. Ties the truck together. I had thought about the pillars but after the hood went on it wouldn’t have looked good. Least not on red.

Have to get the Oracle light too. Hide that top red. Plus it’s awesome light.

I like the hood and windshield personally. I’ve seen a few like that on other vehicles and personally think it’s sharp.

Now if you also wrap the roll bars for when the hood is off it will tie it together nicely when you go topless.
