Ford Bronco Bluetooth is Best 8FD9AD47-959F-41F8-85DC-E08F3BD3EA2C

Audio type listed in order of quality and max volume (according to me)

1. Bluetooth audio
2. Apple Carplay / Android Auto
3. Satellite radio

If you haven’t tried blasting your music with Bluetooth yet then you are missing out.

I am sure this is the case on all the packages that offer specific audio inputs but this is based on my lux with B&O

With the top down and radio loud CarPlay limits the volume more. Then I remember that our VW Atlas was the same way, if you need it better or louder then go Bluetooth.

Try it and tell me what your thoughts are.

I’m interested to try this out. I’ve been exclusively CarPlay since pickup last Oct.

Sync can read certain USB HDD...
I have 2TB drive plugged in with lossless, WMA Pro media. Can't touch this... Lol
(y) I'm doing the same and it's even more pronounced after adding amplifiers to the signal chain.

I do also use the wired carplay with apple music as well. The Sirius compression is pretty awful (shockingly bad) and moving to the apple music for streaming was a huge improvement.

Curious. How does wireless Apple Carplay connect? Isn't that via Bluetooth?

Yes, the wireless carplay connects via bluetooth connection. I personally prefer the wired version since I've had a few instances of the wireless not connecting reliably all the time. YMMV.

I believe it is a combination of bluetooth and WiFi.
This is actually correct. It uses the bluetooth for the connection and wifi for some of the functionality once connected.

Bluetooth sound is compressed but in the noisy environment of a Bronco, it’s good enough for most listeners. In the last 18 months Apple converted all their music to a higher bit rate, even lossless if you want it. It’s a setting in your iPhone.
