Boondocking Lone Cone

Man, I left some trails undone out there. We wanted to do Mineral Pass for more of a challenge, but went Cork Screw Gulch/California/to Engineer Pass into Lake City.

I'm guessing a pilgrimage from PA took some time getting there too! You put in the miles!

I was amazed at the amount of trails in just that area. A great reason to go back. Silverton in late August was perfect, just the right amount of people in town and on the trails. A very dog friendly town also. We did three six hundred mile days to get to the San Juans, and stayed two weeks to make it more worth the drive.
