This specific Extreme H-Pipe does not retain the valves within the exhaust as we wanted a full time exhaust presence and increased exhaust flow to meet MRT's Extreme standard that we feel matches the Braptor's DNA. The valve mechanisms are still in place on the vehicle but they will no longer change the exhaust note. We have engineered a check engine light free solution that keeps the vehicle happy as the valves appear to be in place and functional.

Removing the valves reduces back pressure and allows your turbos to spool more quickly. We expect to see an increase in MPG as we continue testing the system as well.

Under light load or just cruising the system has a nice whirr behind you. Nothing overbearing, just a nice exhaust presence but wind/road noise is still detectable and present.

We do have plans for a second exhaust option for the Braptor. It should be announced next week!

Hello all! Just picked up my raptor from these guys last night and drove it quite a bit. First days impression of the unit is that I love it! The exhaust is substantially louder than “Baja” setting when driving, which is what I wanted and like. On full throttle—holy shit does it sound great. I manage a ford dealership service department, and my technicians evaluated the craftsmanship and install. They were all were really impressed with the fit, finish, and welding on the unit. Overwhelming consensus is that the exhaust “looks like it belongs” on the truck. Two thumbs up to the guys at MRT. They are great to deal with and make a really good product.
