What I find interesting is the orange cables. Cannot see them in these pictures. If there was a hybrid Bronco, battery power mated to a 2.7 or 3.5 engine, I'd put in a reservation immediately.

The name "Thunderbolt" would fit so nicely to a hybrid or all electric Bronco :)

The 3.0L (shares block design with the 2.7) already has a hybrid version.

is the engine bay any bigger?

still holding out hope for an optional V8 after jeep showed their cards

if they even hint at v8 i might cancel my order and wait
I only see one exhaust tip under the vehicle. It could be a diversion, but I wouldn't bank on it having a V8. Heck, I don't even think it will get the 3.5 EcoBoost...

I
Gotta be A-10 Warthog related
I wonder if the fighter jet grey has any correlation here as well. This was a previous color scheme but later became cactus grey but fighter jet grey may be more flat.

pretty sure even early on they were planning on the 3.0

problem is after the bronco launch and live demos , jeep launched and demo'd their v8 product which despite its insane pricing people will buy tons of them.

IMO this puts ford in a position where they have a mass produced (cheap) V8 on hand they could potentially put in a car and undercut jeep by alot.

It just wont make sense for them to not put a V8 in this car in my opinion when jeep is coming for them big time. especially when the milage on the smaller engines are not that impressive
