Bronco roof rack triangle tool needed!

I just read that thread. The person just ordered it a few days ago and will report back if it works.

In the meantime, Also heard a 7mm or 1/4” socket might work too.

wonder those triangular bits you can get on Amazon would work too?

I can confirm that a 7mm, 1/4" drive socket works for the Triangle bolt. I have it in my tool kit. After I bought the Bronco in Georgia and then made in home to Iowa I had time to go through everything and the toolkit was missing. The dealer in GA had one sent to me, but they didn't include the torque tool for the rack.

Thanks! And the socket fits in the space good and is sufficiently deep enough to tighten properly?

Properly? Who knows. I don’t know what the torque tool is set at. I know it fits, will loosen and tighten it back down. I use the socket with just a straight handle so I doubt I could over torque it.
