Bronco started by ITSELF!

It happened again!

I had not driven my Bronco in over a week and the keys were in the house in the key drawer. I was home asleep and my girlfriend came up to our room and woke me up, saying the Bronco is on and running in the driveway. I asked her to turn it off and she did and came back in. About 15 minutes later she went to get something out of her car and the Bronco was running again. That could be from her not turning it off properly, to be fair.

I was going to undo the battery but it looked more involved than I was wanting to do at the moment so I went into the bronco and disabled remote start.

I am the original owner as well. Bought from the dealer, where I will be returning to, to see what's going on with this.

Hello every one new here. hate to open old thread however, just bought 2025 only had it for 2-3 months and this has happened 4 times.
started by its self no fobs pushed or app used. Started researching and found this thread so created account to let everyone know this is not just one off.

has there been any update on this? Has to be an electrical issue of some kind ??

Did you buy your Bronco brand new? Reason I ask is I ordered a ‘23 Bronco and it ended up being full of issues and Ford bought it back. I ordered a ‘24 and while waiting on that one I still had full control over the ‘23 via the ford pass app on my phone. I could start it, unlock it…the whole 9 yards…..not that I actually tried starting it of course. I finally got kicked out after about 3 months. So if yours isn’t new someone may be playing games from afar.

Yes, we bought it new the only person I could think that would have it might be the sales guy or anybody who looked at it prior to us getting it

It would be great if there was a way to firewall your Bronco from someone else’s who may have had prior access to it with the Ford app.
