Definitely would like to see some type of minimalist 'replacement' doors for use in the summer. I would need an option for a 4dr.

Some retro IHC Inspiration...

I'm a fan. I sold out and got a 4 door (no ragrets) but I think a simple design that also covers the B pillar would look good on the moar door. I'm a huge fan of the door inserts on the EBs and would definitely buy.
I agree, covering the b pillar looks cleaner

Yes, please. Even just a finished cap would be a welcome addition.

@ADV Fiberglass might consider offering these if enough interest is shown. I REALLY WANT THESE.

So if you're in the Step-Over/Half Door/Door Insert camp and would like to see a product come to market, please post your support in this thread!

@ADV Fiberglass Just wanted to refresh you on interest in step over / door inserts - seems to be some for both 2- and 4-door owners.

Personally, I'm partial to an option for the 2-door (particularly, since your initial roof offering will be for the 4-door) - and I really do think there is a great market for these. Shipping costs would not be prohibitive, and I believe there's much more interest out there than is currently reflected in this thread on this forum. Step-over doors should sell better than hardtops!

I'd easily fork over up to $3-4K for this, depending on design/functionality (e.g., look like inserts but attach/function like a real door). But, I'd also be ecstatic with a simple removable hollow shell that can be bolted / fixed to the existing body opening for lower cost and shorter R&D time.

In any event, love your stuff and keep up the great work!

I'd have preference for a simple fixed shell and was hoping they could hit a price point near 2k for a 2dr.

Part of the answer is the inserts for classic Broncos are pretty rough and take some body work to "install". My hope is that ADV offers ready to install solution that does not require modification of the Bronco, just paint them (if the owner wants) and bolt them on. I'd be happy if the inserts were finished in a matte black or the same as the MIC hardtop.

I would suggest that they come ready to paint whatever color the buyer wants. If they were black, faded MIC Gray, or any other Mad Max look, then I wouldn't be a buyer. And someone mentioned earlier that they wanted them to work as a door? I don't understand that thinking. They are "step-over" inserts. Their purpose is literally in the name.

They just need to make an unpainted insert for the 2-dr and for those 4-dr buyers who think a Chonco can ever look like a roadster.
