We are focusing on our fenders, rear quarter kits, and hardtops at this time. The door inserts (if we decide to move forward) would be after those are all completed.

Now that the hard tops are nearing completion are there any updates on door inserts?

I know that the 2-dr doors are wider than the 4-dr front doors, but I wonder if the hinge and latch geometries are the same. Then it would be possible to make a 2-piece door insert (hinge side and latch side) that would be easy to step over but clean up the exposed stuff.

I probably would have purchased an ADV hardtop IF they offered it for the 2-door. While I understand that there are more MOAR DOORS on the road, I think it's time some vendors show their love for the ORIGINAL roadster; the 2-door.

If it was from any other company, I would. I got burned in the hard top hype trickle tease announcement loop and would rather support a company without the gimmicks, extreme margins and renders and with real photos of products before asking for people’s money and a real warranty.

I'm waiting for something like these. I don't like the donut doors from the Ford reveal. The Sema doors are rad. Even something simple to cover the door jams.
