heading out next Friday on a 9 day cruise, break in period, camping/hiking trip up Hwy 395 (California). When I get back I'm getting my 36" JBL sound bar installed where the two rear speakers are located and the tailgate table. "Thumbs Up" to the Wild Side!

I think you could hinge this, probably in 3 section, and accordion style fold it back on itself to use the backseats. I'm in an urban apt. so if I did something like this (which I want to do) being removable isn't really helpful, because I'd have no where to put it.Thought that I'd share my super easy weekend project, that ended up costing only about $100.
Inspired by some of the other threads I found on here, I did a platform for the back of my 2DR. I originally wanted to do a full seat delete, but this setup works really well for my needs of loading/unloading my photo gear. Also, it's nice that the seats are still installed and the platform can be removed in about 5 minutes if needed.
I wanted to be able to cover up my sub to make it less prone to theft with the top down or with my soft top up. Out of sight, out of mind and all that.
Of course still a sacrifice of volume compared to an actual seat delete... but works for my needs and really opens up the useable storage space of the 2dr.
Rubbing because they are 15s? I'm bummed about that too since I tried fitting some 15s. I needed 1/4" spacers on the front to clear rubbing on the face, but they cleared the calipers. The rear however interfered with the caliper on the barrel.Picked up my 2dr base model on 24AUG, and I've been nonstop smiles through the weekend... it's plain, but the perfect blank canvas (2.3L engine, manual transmission, aux switches).
My planned wheels didn't quite work (slight rub on the brake caliper), I'll sort that out eventually. In the interim the standard wheels/tires are growing on me.
Reserved 12/2020, initial order 3/21, (re)ordered 10/21; dealer honored 2021 MSRP pricing and gave me one of the (discontinued) off road assistance kits. I added my bronco hammock, and a spare pair of tie rods and assorted tools to the kit.
My passenger windshield wiper arm was installed crooked (blade drops below windshield molding). I tried to fix, but need a 2-jaw puller to take the arm off, so I scheduled her first warranty appointment.
Installed curt hitch and passenger rear tow hook (tow hook was a take off piece from a friend at work, cost me a 6-pack of angry orchard cider). Another friend from work is giving me his OEM Badlands rock rails (they're from a 4dr so I'll have to cut them down, thankfully another member here on b6g has done that so I now know the way). Just under 300 miles so far, and I'm getting 28-30mpg
Weird observation - everyone that's looked it over has grabbed the trails sites and shook the vehicle vigorously while asking "what are these?" I hope they don't break off!
Plan to hit our first trail in two weeks, can't wait!
