After seeing Defenders fail badly at obstacles this weekend at an off-road park made for hardcore off-roaders... I'm less interested in it. It's definitely more for overlanding much like the Rivian R1S which I think is the direct competitor along with the new Land Cruiser or GX.
Jeep Wranglers and Broncos are definitely meant for hard-core trail riding. For a family SUV to go overlanding or camping... the Defender/LC/GX/R1S are definitely more comfy.
