Broncos and fishing- lets see em

I am retired military, and my daily routine now for the past 2+yrs is getting up at 4am Mon-Fri and be on a lake by 6am. I tow my bass boat with the Bronco daily and out the door we go. Fishing to me is heaven on water, getting my rods ready the night before and waking up thinking this is the day for the big one.

Who else enjoying Bronco's and fishing? Post those pics of your Bronco and fish.

This one is the heaviest of the season so far, 7.32lbs using a top water toad off Lilly pads Lake Tarpon.

Whats the weight on your boat? I was looking at a tracker Pro Team 175 which comes in at 2,155 lbs. do you have any issues at freeway speed and the rig feeling twitchy towing with the 2 door?

My boat which is also aluminum comes in at 1,030 lbs with a max capacity of 455 lbs. Trailer and boat are at a combined 2,385 lbs. Towing with the Bronco 2dr short wheelbase is better than when I was towing with my 21 Ranger 4dr xlt. My trailer tongue is like the Bass Tracker trailers which have the fold away tongue, only my tongue is about 1.5 feet longer which allows for better at distribution. I have no issues at all towing the boat. This boat I got now is a 17' Raptor, which my wife bought me for my retirement along with the Bronco. But I received the boat immediately not so much for the Bronco LOL. Next year I'll be trading it in for a Ranger or Nitro fiberglass 18'.

Alligator Lake is a great lake for quality bass.

Yessir! Trail is too thick where I’ve been going so made an adjustment.

I usually just tow around a shrimp bucket in the back of my Bronco. Hoping to be towing around a little flats boat I have been working on soon.
