Bronze Wheels + Cactus Grey, or should I go other colors?

Hi all,

I have a Cactus Grey Badlands on the way and am contemplating a wheel/tire upgrade to Method MR701s+ 35" tires. I have seen the paint color in person but am wondering how it looks with bronze wheels. Google searches dont give me any useful results, even for other Ford vehicles. I'm thinking that it's just not a good fit and I should probably go with black wheels.

Are there any users who have tried this combination and can share pics?

Colors aren’t perfect but I think Bronze would look kick ass with Cactus.

Cactus grey badlands here too. Hopefully delivered tomorrow and I’m seriously thinking of 35s. As I understand it we need a lift kit to run 35s. What your plan to make the 35s fit and how concern are you about on road performance degradation?

The badlands has the lift you need (maybe add a leveling kit) and possibly the gearing if you have the manual, but the big thing is the wheel offset. The stock badlands wheels have a +55 offset that makes the tires rub on the control arm. You need a +30 offset or lower to move the tire out from the body of the car (difference between +30 and +55 is 25mm).

I know it won't perform optimally, but it should perform more or less how well sasquatch does.

As they say… once you go black (wheels) you never go back! I just worry the bronze/gold will be dated quickly.
