Bushwacker Marks...

I just purchased my new to me Wildtrack.....Cyber Orange.
Love the Bronco! I've been a Jeep and GM person all my life, and I can't say enough about the Bronco.....
The Bronco came with Bushwacker pocket flares on it. Way to big for stock tires. Not my taste. I took them off and it left marks in the paint where the rubber runs along the painted areas. I tried polishing compounds and such, but they are still there.
Any suggestions other than having the panels re-cleared? Non of the marks have gone through the paint to primer......I'm almost thinking decal to hide them, but it might look funny because I have the Wildtrack stickers on the side of my ride.

Without seeing it, can’t recommend much. My only thought is you probably have 2 options, put the original flares back on, and call it a day. Or get different flares, all flares are similar, so they might cover the rub marks.

First off, well done taking off those nasty pocket flares! Best bet is to go to a detail/paint shop and see if they can get it off. They’ll either be successful or able to recommend a good course of action.
