I did the same. But got to thinking. Someone isn't as likely to steal the wheels from under the Bronco, just the spare. So I put three Advanced Wheel Locks on my spare. They look nice too.
Yeah, I wish I knew you when I ordered them. I would have ordered 7 total, or 8 to have 1 extra.

Two different locks and a cover will make it more of a hassle that many would-be thieves might not want to take on....

Does the spare not have a TPMS sensor? The low tire light is off. Shouldn't the light be on with a missing tire?
It does. However, the system doesn't read the pressure of the tire mounted in the spare location. The tires have to be spinning to activate the sensor.

Pretty sure I’m good with these ugly OBX rims, if they were powder coated black then I think I would have a possible issue but as stock barely anyone wants them.

Order them now. Especially if you want an extra key and additional lugs. I waited 2 months.

Last night, some person decided that they needed the spare tire off my my 4 month old Wildtrak. My Wildtrak did not come with any wheel locks, and I didn't think anything about it.

Now I am needing a new rim, tire, tpms, etc., and some anger management suggestions.

The DV8 solution looks nice. Also allows you to mount other items.

The very first mod i do to every vehicle i own is to put a set of locking lugs on. I am putting icons on my latest build and using the splined lug nuts. Hoping that will be enough. I don’t leave any of my vehicles sitting out at night. That and “try that in a small town” rules apply if I catch someone trying.

i didnt buy wheel locks... i purchased the Mishimoto Aluminum Lugs and put one on my spare. they require a different style socket to get them off that most thieves wouldnt be smart enough to carry... just food for thought. Between the Diode Dynamics Spare lug mounted light requiring a special tool to remove and the mishimoto lug theyd have to work to get my spare.

I wonder what a thief does with a spare tire and rim?

Food for thought. Living in a "nice neighborhood" or "good part of town" means nothing. Those are the target areas of thieves. They don't like to steal from their area because there isn't anything worth stealing. Feeling secure because you live in a "nice" area is a false sense of security. Thieves don't want to "shop" at the Dollar Store, they want Nieman Marcus.
