My apologies if this has been answered - I looked and didn't see.

My Bronco's cabin thermostat seems to be way off. For the past week it gets way too hot inside - I didn't really pay attention and figured I had heat up too high. Today I noticed it again - checked temperature setting - it was 71 degrees and blowing warm air. I turned the AC on - same thing.

When I turned it down to low it got cooler, but not where it should have been - it's 45 degrees outside. Any ideas?

Same issue here. Taking it to the dealer to have it sorted out. I read somewhere else there's a sensor that causes this issue. Only way to get cold air is if I set the thermostat to LO. Anything outside of LO blows warm to hot air only.

Hi there. This temperature concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

What is the blend door issue?
When you rotate the temperature gauge there is a little flap (door) that moves and adjusts how much heat you get from the heater core or from outside. Sometimes these little motorized doors can fail. I don’t think it’s a wide spread issue with Broncos though but might be a one off for you. Either way dealer should be able to check it out under warranty.

Makes sense - could this be intermittent or result in different degrees of undesired temperature? It was extremely noticeable a week ago. Took it to dealer today for oil change but had them take a look.....guy essentially put his hand in front of vents. He didn't think anything was wrong.

I admit it's not as bad as it was, but 75 degrees shouldn't be blowing out warm air when the A/C is on, should it?

I’m having the same issue and my guy said he couldn’t replicate it, though I’m not sure how bc it happens every day. I’m also having an issue with fan speed, despite it being set to 1. I think it’s all somewhat related to the blend door or damper door issues that I’ve read about on this forum. The third issue I’m also having is the recirc button is not staying on, but I read that it may be because it doesn’t work with defrost. If anyone gets a fix from their dealer can you please pass the fix along? I’ll do the same the next time I take it in, if I have any resolution. Thanks all!

Click on Ford Motor Company's name and "start conversation" with them.

Recirc is auto cancelling with no known way to defeat it yet. Latest update has it auto cancel after 1 minute every time.
Yes , it sucks, but that what it is......
