Also it’s funny to me that that a lot of people apparently paid the $1000 for upgraded Badlands wheels only to sell them as takeoffs right away

(I think they look great, FWIW, but I’ve definitely seen a half dozen or so people here with them on non-BL models)

My thoughts exactly! Wasn’t my first choice but it’s cheapest way to get a set of KO2’s!

Looks great! What's the reason that you went with 75 vs 70 as original? More sidewall, looks ...?

Sidewall mainly. If I remember right, it technically gives me a 34.8 inch tire. Plus this is primarily a daily driver and I wanted all terrains with a good warranty and these were the biggest tires the manufacturer said was okay for this width of rim. Cooper discoverers. I took an eternity to choose them.

Hello!

Has anyone tried 33.5" tires on OBX with no lift or modifications? I know 33" works, but am trying to go with wider tires, which require the extra half inch in diameter.
We are looking at the KO2s 275/60 (33") or 285/60 (33.5")

Yes, works absolutely fine with a 17" plus 30 offset RTR Tech 6 rim (295/70R17 - 33.5" tire).

New shoes this morning! Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus, 275/65 R18. Still 32” diameter, but almost +1” width. What a difference in look. Really didn’t think 33” would be much of an improvement.

Looks great, I think the stock OBX rims are really nice but they definitely need an upgraded tires. Thanks for posting yours.
Might I suggest wheel spacers?
Gives just a little poke and IMHO a better stance.

We finally did it!

the rims were supposed to be on back order for a few months, but they came in early!
We got the 20 inch Niche Vice SUVs with the 275/60R20 tires BFG K02!
The fit is great and the poke is perfect!
