Ordered 3/1/22, black diamond with mid package, eruption green.

still no build date.

found a black diamond with mid package, area 51 in town, they agreed to MSRP. I'm dumb enough to finance a 4x4, but i'd still like to get the best deal possible. can I apply any of the price protection or "cancel your order" offers to this in stock unit? $49k (sticker) is a jagged little pill for something that I initially built out at ~45.

I'm asking here because I don't trust dealers to advocate for ME. If other people with a situation similar to mine have successfully received the check back from Ford, I'd like to know that before the dealer tells me "can't do it!" or "of course" and then failing to come through. That's where reaching out to a network of people who have already bought the thing I want to buy actually comes in handy.

My dealer, Earnhardt Ford, stacked the price protection (from a 12/21 ordered Wildtrak) and cancel order "private offers" on an abandoned order for me. I had called another dealer in Phoenix about their stock when we had to do the change or cancel earlier this year and they indicated they would not stack private offers. Therefore, YMMV.

The dealer is the only answer you need, it is yes or no.. ask
Sometimes "I can't do that" means "I didn't know I could do that."
I thinkbits important to know what other people have succeeded in doing to make sure you're not bounded by someone else's ignorance or lack of creativity.

Thanks. Is it fair to assume you ultimately bought the in stock order from the same one you originally ordered through and finalized the purchase before the March 7* deadline?

*Not sure in March 7th is correct

Correct. My original order was also at Earnhardt Ford. I did finalize the purchase before March 7th but I'm not sure if that was a factor. I was very thankful my sales person suggested doing the stacking of the private offers without me evening asking. The private offers came in the form of a reduction to purchase price. Together it was nearly $5500 taken off of MSRP of the model I purchased.

Have you had a dealer validate if you have private offers available in the Smart Vincent system? If you do, then it should be a pretty simple ask to have them applied to your purchase.

A very honest sales rep/Bronco specialist I spoke with said that the difficulty in getting this cancel/in stock private offer applied in this situation is that the original dealer order has to be cancelled. Your first dealer has very little incentive to do that if you are not buying from them (they can take the Bronco and sell it as an abandoned order). So you need to speak to the order dealer and the in-stock dealer and get them to work together...it can happen, but good luck.

Even getting one in-stock from the original order dealer has proven to be problematic for some incompetent dealers. Try to talk to a sales manager, not a sales person - most don't understand the systems very well.

The Ford customer service line can give you the certificate number of your private offer, if that helps. 1-800-334-4375
