You can remove them, but then you will have a bunch of exposed bolt holes. 24 to be correct.

Yes. Many of us have had them color matched. Personally sent mine to a painter and drove without them for a week.

I used my cordless impact drill. Some were tough. They have loctite on them.

If you're removing them yourself, I highly recommend spraying them with a penetrating fluid like Liquid Wrench, waiting a few minutes for the fluid to do its thing, and then slowly removing them by hand. I do not recommend an impact wrench.

Hand start the bolts when youre putting them back on dont use impact until they screw in a bit...had a tire shop cross thred 3 bolts and just shrugged and said the rim was faulty.
