Can the Bronco soft top be permanently removed?

how hard would it be to remove the entire soft top from the bronco?

i would almost consider switching my order from mod top to soft top to get it earlier if I knew i could remove the soft top all together. And then just wait for hard tops to become available.

I don’t like the look of the soft top where it is up or retracted.

Yes, a pair of scissors is all you need.

Of course, my non-smart-ass response is yes - You can remove some bolts and it will lift off. Similar to the MIC top does.

It looks pretty easy. Just need to remove three bolts on each side in the back.

No, but it does harden over time. Once the metamorphosis is complete, it becomes an MIC top.

Being a modular vehicle, i believe the hard and soft tops are interchangeable with the same mounting locations. This is all speculation, not verified yet.

My assumption is that Ford includes the plastic covers to put on when the soft top is removed.
I hope that I am correct. They cover where the soft top bolts on.
