Just saw a few YouTube videos on this. Looks like the 2.3 install is easy-peasy..........the 2.7 not so much.

Such conflicting information. I even just spoke with rough country and their R&D team said it doesn't fit on the Capable bumper.

So I changed my mind again and haven’t gone through with a purchase yet… sorry!

There are some folks on here who have installed the RC hidden winch on a 2.7 capable, but they had to do some cutting and moving to make it fit

All good! I'm thinking of doing it but very worried about what it might due to the warranty. Feels like this might be a bad idea despite how much better it looks...

I would expect at least something from warranty to be voided since you’d be removing some factory bits, unfortunately…

the high mount look has slowly grown on me. I’d like to figure out a bull bar option for the capable that works with it…

Yea I'm potentially thinking of heading with the RC high winch mount. The installs look pretty sweet with it. would be great if there was a bull bar that worked alongside wit the capable bumper.

I have the camera though and so I think the high mount + a bull bar will block a ton. Definitely would have to relocate the control box on the winch at least.

The lobo bumper is three pieces to install. Total.
Plus 6 bolts for the front sides, and 4 new boots for the intercooler mounts

Are you referring to their front winch bumper, or their alternative hidden winch skid plate mount?

Is the Lobo hidden mount a viable option for the 2.7 (assuming some cutting and moving of intercooler)? Has anyone done this yet?
