Close enough for me to order Carbonized Gray. Confirms MIC Gray top will work well Carbonized Gray body. Thanks Ford I'll take the $1895 discount for black top delete on my Wildtrak. ?

From day one was going with the carbonized grey. Finally saw first hand the carbonized grey on an explorer and a magenta metallic grey on mustang and F150
Carbonized grey looked flat after seeing the magenta that really popped. After seeing the magenta I'm unsure if i stay with the carbonized grey. May go with black.

IMO, any rendering for carb gray with the MIC top is useless. The colors are technically supposed to be the same. So only real world lighting and texture will show how one differs from the other. Need to see it in person, or get real world pics

I photoshopped what a painted black top might look like on this and also took a little of the blue out since it is reflecting the sky a bit. I am pretty in to this color all of the sudden. I think I am gonna go look at an explorer tomorrow to see it in person.

Call me crazy, but with this color I like the Gray MIC top better than the black. Plus I'm saving $1890 to boot. ? Win/Win

definitely a good way to save some cash. I think regardless of what color I end up on, I will be buying a painted top when available.

I’m sold on the gray now that I’ve seen it in the daylight, but my wife wants Area 51. Ugh! Still time to change her mind.
