Center console arm rest extender

Am I the only one with short forearms? I have a manual and whenever I'm in the forward gears (1,3,5), my elbow just barely touches the center console to rest on.
Is there any solution to extend the center console further forward? Sliding would be nice, but not necessary. I haven't seen anything posted on here that I could easily find.
