Hi everyone. New to site. One question I have is im planning to install some vinyl stripe s on the sides of the bronco. Underground graphics claim a water and alcohol mix needs to be used to clean. Will that take care of the ceramic spray that I've used?

In my opinion, I’m sure the water alcohol mixture is meant to clean the surface of the paint for good adhesion of the graphic, but highly doubt it will affect the ceramic coating. If you feel you want to remove ceramic coating for sure, polish it of with some polishing compound. Thats really the best way to remove ceramic without using degreasers or other chemical solution.

Water mist the area you'll be applying the vinyl stripe. Make sure the water sheets everywhere with no beading.

What kind of ceramic spray? A professionally applied coating, or a spray wax with ceramic in it?

I think the water / alcohol spray they recommend should be fine. I've used spray wax with "ceramic" and don't think it does much more than any other synthetic spray wax. But if you want to be sure, ask the vendor?

If it were me, I'd probably wash the vehicle with dawn or a carwash with no wax in it to get all dirt and grime off the paint so I don't scratch it with alcohol/ water. Then I'd do the alcohol and water prep, then install, then maybe wash again with a detergent with wax and finally wax / spray wax.
