Hello all,

I just got a quote for:

• XPEL XR Plus 70 - $199 (windshield)
• XPEL XR Plus - $525 (all other windows)

this is for a place in New Braunfels, Texas

Does this seem reasonable?

The $525 for 7 windows seems pretty standard considering the tint quality. That 200 for the windshield seems high.

Either way you’re gonna get people saying they got theirs for $2 and a McChicken.

That’s about what I paid for my grand Cherokee in universal city for llumar. I can’t remember if it was pinnacle or stratos. I think it was on step down from the best because I wanted 5% on the back and the highest level didn’t go that low.

confirmed it was pinnacle. I was quite happy with it. Grand Cherokee had a camera for the rear view mirror, so 5% was no problem. Otherwise it’d be nearly impossible to see out of at night.

Waaaaay too expensive. I paid $220 for all windows but the windshield here in the Dallas area (Garland). Find somewhere in a more industrial part of town...

I heard a guy down off behind the corner will install some Walmart windows tint for $50.
but for a good shop and quality tint, it’s not cheap.

It all depends on the Tint. if you got the "highest quality" tint they offer then that sounds reasonable to me. I think I paid $350 for my 4 windows and $175 for windshield in DFW area. But that was their second highest quality tint.

XPEL is one of the best products on the market, with XR Plus being the top of their line. Its all I use. The price quoted is a fair price. Very reasonable, assuming they throw in 2 McChicken sandwiches.
