After taking my Bronco offroading, the engine bay got dirty AF. I've been searching and searching online, but wanted to check-in with specific Bronco owners. Has anyone cleaned their engine bay yet?

Ideally I'd like to just take a hose to it. It doesn't have all the grim yet, just mud, which is now dirt... But am worried about the electronics. But if I cover the battery and fuse box I"ll be ok?

Just looking for some firsthand experience with this. It must be something we're all facing? (except the OBX owners... I kid! I kid!) 😂😂

I have the 2.3l if that matters at all.

I don't have anything specific for the Bronco, but this video is a fantastic guide.

Thx, this is one of the better videos I watched.

These are very dirty engines that needs a lot of attention. Mine is more... just got dried up dirt all over it. Something I know a quick hosing would wash away.

I'm just curious if anyone's done that yet.

I really, really, really didn't want to remove or unplug the battery either. I don't feel like having to redo all my settings again.

I've seen other videos of other people just hosing it down. Most seem to, at the very least, cover up the battery. Was just hoping someone already did that with a Bronco and can validate my laziness. I need a "yes, I did hosed it down, no issues". haha
