Side note: I don't know about the 2.3, but the 2.7 can go between 0 - 18+ psi
If I remember right, I have had the boost in my 2.3 max out in the very low 16's.

If I remember right, I have had the boost in my 2.3 max out in the very low 16's.
I've been pretty much the same in my 2.7. honestly I haven't fully gotten into it yet because I'm still breaking it in. I have read others have hit 18 but then again I'm also not running premium gas most of the time which I think you need to max out the turbos.

It's essentially a manifold pressure gauge that doesn't show negative numbers. Analog boost gauges of the past typically will be pressure gauges that will show negative and positive pressure.
