Has anyone ever gotten the below code and wrench light on their dash before? It happened yesterday when we hit 110 degrees outside while I was set on cruise control around 65mph and it suddenly lost power and went into limp mode. I ran FORScan when I limped it home and chalked it up to a hot clutch, but this morning the clutch pedal still feels spongy and there is some slip but I guess not enough to throw the code. I guess I'll see what happens as the temperature climbs today. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Ever figure anything out? I couldn't find much info on that code in my book. If your clutch was wiped I would think you would know by now

Consensus with @PWillette is smoked clutch. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow morning to have the clutch replaced with a SBC stage 2 kit.

That sux, but you will enjoy the SBC!
Haha, I hope so, I'm going off your recommendation! I have close to zero faith in the stock transmission at this point. I think my next step will be a rebuild from Calimer; they're pretty highly praised in the MT-82 community.

Is that discolored metal on the pressure plate and flywheel or clutch material on it?

It was discoloration on them. I was shocked to see the state they were in. Glad the kit came with a flywheel because I bet the old one was warped.

LOL...Ya think?
Haha, I mean, I’ve never seen a clutch shit the bed after 6000 miles…I could have hope that the flywheel was still good!

I've seen them worse in 600 miles. A determined customer can destroy a clutch instantly. Not saying you are that guy...but they are out there!
