Completely Electric G Wagon? The eG Wagon? Mercedes has you covered

I don't love the looks of the G wagon, it's not quite a Jeep, not quite an old school LandRover, both of which I like. It just slightly misses the mark on style and I've never been able to pinpoint why.

With that said, those things are bulletproof and can take one hell of a beating. It's a shame more of them don't spend more time off road. But at that price point I get it.

I wonder if the new 'E' version will really be up to the same standards, I very much doubt it, but again, if it never sees the dirt, no one will ever know.

Love the G and have been looking to get a G63 for a while now - can't find the color (interior/exterior combo) and options I like and hate the thought of ordering one and waiting a year+. Will never get the electric G...or any electric vehicle.

The G is already a heavy vehicle...can't imagine what the E version will weigh.
