Majority of the time, it's just gonna be me in the truck. Otherwise, I don't let anyone else eat or drink in my vehicles.

So current config of cupholders is good for my needs.

Easy to make something 100x better than the flimsy plastic POS that flips out of a backrest. I drew up and had a local fab shot cut one out of steel for my Ranger (that had no cupholders at all from the factory), with two $3 plastic cupholder inserts from Wally world boat dept and a can of spray paint I am into it $30.

Above all, only tiny humans and dogs will ride in the back. Each car seat has two cupholders and dogs don't drink from cups... so who cares.

I’m getting a 2 door and we will only use 2 cup holders.
