No passenger is getting in my Bronco with food of any kind. They can starve back there.
I'm with you on this. I learned my lesson years ago when my wife and I took her friend and her friend's boyfriend on a little road trip a week after getting my new Acura. We stopped at 7-11 to grab some bevs and snacks, and the dude got flaming hot cheetos. 18 years later and you can still see remnants of it on the door sill and grab handle. 🤬

My kids will survive without snacks too, lol.

EDIT - by the way, I like poles.

My first car--used, but old lady pristine--was kind of a mobile dorm room/barracks, but eating Cheetos in someone else's new car? 7th or 8th circle of hell, lol

Do I think it's just stupid and foolish on Ford's part not to have cupholders in the back? Yes.

Am I going to buy a Bronco regardless of the number and positions of the cupholders? Also yes.

(To me, it's even more idiotic that the fold-down armrest in the leather interior has cupholders, but not the MGV.)

Interestingly, when we bought my wife's GLC a couple years ago, one of the things the dealer mentioned that MB had to change in their American models was the number of cupholders. It was actually enough of an issue in their market research that they made changes to the interior specifically to address it. Think he mentioned something about the magic number being 6.

Not worried about back seat passengers. They will be discouraged with prejudice. If they're back there, it'll be because they have an emergency on their part and will not need any comfort items. Actually thinking about removing them, at the minimum folding them down...

I have no idea how many cupholders there are in a Bronco, and I couldn't care less.

Current Subaru Ascent owner. Zero cup holders are better than 19 bad ones.

Also, idea: stick a serious magnet to the frame and stick a metal bottle to that? Sounds dumb enough to work.
