Custom color painted my Bronco and added lift plus new shoes - Toyos & Methods !

Is it more expensive to paint or wrap? Just curious...

Paint. Wrap quote was 3k. Paint was 5.5k. I’ve had a wrap. Eventually they peel. You can see seams. Other than clear PPF wraps don seem to be worth the money in the long run.

Did you look into a wrap vs getting painted, would love to hear a cost comparison if you have one.

I’ll post some more detail when I pick it up. They removed the fenders and all trim. Even the speakers on the roll bar. There’s a seal on the door that is glued. He didn’t want to remove it. So part of the interior of the door is AMB but you don’t really notice it.

Don’t like AMB so doesn’t really matter if it’s discontinued. It’s not CG. Someday I’ll find a CG and post side by side. It’s a custom color by the body shop.

For me it just looks like it would ALWAYS be dirty. I quite like it but I don't want to live at the car wash every day just to keep my truck looking nice.

Light colors always look less dirty. Even when they are really dirty. I went months between washings with my Nacho Gladiator and it didn't look dirty at all. On top of that light colors show scratches and swirl marks much less.

As for AMB, I'll be keeping mine true to the blue.

Yes this. AMB was actually my preferred color (I will have to pick something else for MY22), but it always looking dirty due to being so dark was my biggest concern.

My wife had a car with a color very similar to AMB, and it always showed dirt horribly.
Scratches stuck out like a sore thumb too. Pretty color, but I would never get that one again.

I believe some state DMVs and insurance companies require notice if you paint a vehicle.....just to tie everything off
