There is no choice. Tremec 6 speed all the way. I wanted the auto for the Bronco, but a car like this should be a manual, full send.

The 10 speed has its place but a 6 spd with 500 hp and a 3.73 gear is next level experience. There is no choice. Tremec 6 speed all the way. I wanted the auto for the Bronco, but a car like this should be a manual, full send.
Dark Horse has the Tremec, one of the reasons I wanted it over the regular GT.did they put the tremic from the mach1 in it? or does it get the mt82?
Believe it or not, nothing to report. While they are delivering Dark Horse Mustangs, they aren't building any with the handling pack, and that's a requirement for me. Apparently the parts are impossible to get. My dealer has offered me others with current build slots, but I told him I want the handling pack, no compromise. So here I am with an order that is 16 months old and no car. Wow that sounds familiar!OP no pics of your dark horse?
Oh man! I’m sorry to hear that I had no idea! I had seen them all over YouTube and figured the production was fine. It sucks they have a parts shortages STILL. Keep holding out though it’s better to get it how you want it.Believe it or not, nothing to report. Meanwhile I bought an old Corvette to keep me busy.
It's a Dark Horse, it has to be black! I haven't see too many black DHs in the wild, most seem to be gray or white. Once in a while one of the very early handling pack cars comes on the market and they are still trading at a premium, while the regular ones are at or below MSRP. So I wait.Oh man! what color did you go with?
I eventually want to get back in the Mustang game. Loved my 5.0 and miss it all the time
Gotcha, that def makes sense to hold out then. It's a Dark Horse, it has to be black! I haven't see too many black DHs in the wild, most seem to be gray or white. Meanwhile this old C4 is a lot of fun.

LOL we are exactly the opposite. Sports cars are more enjoyable with a manual transmission. It won't be a track car, but I could certainly get it on track once or twice. But woking the gears, heel-toe, is just more fun. Now on an offroad vehicle, auto all the way. No clutch to worry about, let the transmission do its thing while I focus on the thousand-foot dropoff, or that boulder I'm about to hit.Personal opinion, but on a track car get the fastest option (almost always auto nowadays) on a slow car like the Bronco MT works great.
