Looking at buying a center dash mount to hold iphone and possible GoPro or a Garmin Nav model (still undecided). However, my point in this post is to ask the experienced BRAPTOR folks, if they have had any issues with the circular mag mounts actually holding their iphones when off road (excluding rock crawls and extreme stuff)… a buddy of mine said to get the spring loaded iphone holders…as he didn’t think the mag devices would hold. What’s been the experience factor from this forum? Thanks.

I have a Bullet Point Rubi Grid with Quad Lock phone mount. Works great because I can swap between other vehicles. However, CarPlay does everything I need so now the Rubi Grid is just for show on my badlands. Good luck going down the preverbal rabbit hole!

Thanks Bronco t ! I think you are clueing me into just get along with CarPlay, and a APP or two for navigation, forget the Garmin idea. Interesting…. I’ll check out your solution. Again, thanks. Happy New Year.

I also use bulletpoint for my dash mount, I have their MagSafe charger along with just a non-charging MagSafe mount, both have held up to my off road adventures. I also recently added a Tackform mount to the passenger center grab handle for my Midland mic, they also have great gear. You can’t go wrong with either brand.

Not a BRaptor owner but hopefully useful.

I first was looking at the multi-item mounts for the top dash - several out there. But with just my phone there I am blocking my view of the right fender sight and sort of blocking access to the switches. On the FB Bronco 6th Gen page Corbin Blanchard made a simple mount that goes under the lower dash BRONCO plate. If you are going to use CarPlay/AA for everything then why have the phone out in front and in the way - so for me makes sense. I am using a QL Mag Charging head with a 6" RAM mount and 1/2-20 Ball on the upper dash - Using the failed Amazon USB port module there (lomg story) but at least 1 port works so I can have a short cable to the MAG head to keep the phone charged. But as soon as I can make the mount like Corbin did I will relocate everything down to the lower area. Would still only require a short USB cable to keep the phone charged from the USB ports there.

Then only as needed items up top - like a GoPro or something
