Like a lot of people on here today, I was hoping to have an early Christmas gift in my email inbox. I didn't expect to have a build date due to the fact that I had a late reservation (8/7/21) and order date (9/2/21). So needless to say I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had a scheduled for production email with vin number for my order! (BD, 2.7, auto, 4-door, SAS, Soft top, mid package, ) However, I also had a second email with a second vin number for a different bronco that was tied to my 8/7/21 reservation! (BL, 2.3, manual, 4-door, Soft top, MGV, mid package, Area 51). Here are the screen shots of the orders:
First the "mistake" order:
And my actual order:
I contacted my dealership and they verified the mix-up. They sell these at MSRP and stated that I will have the right to buy both vehicles. So, should I pull the trigger on both trucks?
Has anybody else had this happen?
Seems a bit weird that they would place an order without having me finalize the details, but not a problem if I have the right to buy either or both vehicles if I choose to.
